In the third quarter of 2021, Finland's carpooling and ridesharing app market saw diverse trends in downloads and active users across the top five applications. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of these apps based on Sensor Tower data.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 3.2K at the end of June and dipping to 2.1K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 6K in late June, peaking at 6.3K in mid-September, and then falling to 5.3K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride showed relatively stable weekly downloads, with minor fluctuations, starting at 945 and closing the quarter at 815. Weekly active users for the app remained robust, averaging around 56K throughout the quarter, with a slight decrease towards the quarter's end, finishing at 54K.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a modest decline in weekly downloads from 772 at the end of June to 654 by the end of September. Active user numbers also showed a slight downward trend, starting at 4.9K and ending at 4.6K.

Cabify experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at 56 in late June and rising to 157 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 219 and reaching 467 by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had relatively low weekly downloads, ranging from 38 to 142 throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, averaging around 1.1K to 1.2K throughout the period.
